Facebook Memories reminded me that this week 5 years ago, hubby and I were in Maine and one of our stops was The Lobster Dock where we dined al fresco.
At times, I find the Memories feature of FB annoying, but on this occasion it actually brought welcome memories; like the time we dined at The Lobster Dock. I discovered The Lobster Dock through Bobby Flay’s show on the Food Network called Throwdown where the Food Network chef challenged the chef of Lobster Dock to a crab cake throwdown. I can’t remember who won the throwdown. But that’s how we found our way to Lobster Dock. So, of course, we had to try the crab cakes. The crab cakes were good. I would have loved to know if Bobby Flay’s was better. But there was no throwdown that day. Since we were in Maine, I absolutely had to have a lobster roll. It’s a must when one is in Maine. It was delicious!
Hubby’s choice was the lobster dinner which came with a biscuit and a corn on a cob.
Browsing through our pictures in Maine from 5 years ago brought a smile. It was a beautiful day when we were at The Lobster Dock. It made me wish I was back there enjoying the gentle wind on my face as I take a bite of delicious lobster roll.
