3-Line Tales: In Love Again

“You know what these boots are made for?” She asked Leo while perched on the light blue tinted drawer at his work room. There was a mischievous gleam in her eyes as she smiled at him. “These boots are made for walkin’, darlin’!” She drawled in the Texas accent that she does so well.

Leo laughed out loud.”Okay, then.” He said, lifting her off the heavy duty drawer that she had claimed as a bench. “Let’s go!”

“Fabulous!” She exclaimed, her hands going around his waist for a brief hug; then took his hand as she pulled him towards the door of his weekend cabin in the country. “I’ll make an outdoorsman out of you in no time!”
