Barnegat Lighthouse, NJ

Long Beach Island is a summer destination in New Jersey. One of its known attractions is a lighthouse built in 1835 at the northern tip of the island.

For $3, visitors may climb the 217 steps to the top for a beautiful view of the sea and the island.

The 217 steps up are not easy, but when climbing with company, the fun and the view make up for a little bit of huffin’ and puffin’. :))
