Nostalgia

This week’s Photo Challenge is nostalgia. The period in the past that brings nostalgic feelings is time spent with childhood friends enjoying a favorite Filipino street food called banana cue and camote (sweet potato) cue. 


Plantain or sweet potato are deep fried and sprinkled with brown sugar.


Right after school we would buy these sweet treats and walk home eating and chatting. 


The last time I enjoyed a stick of banana cue and camote cue was two years ago. It seemed like a long time ago.
