Hi, from South Dakota!

We are here! Hubby and I can finally check off Mount Rushmore on our National Parks list.

We got to attend the last day of the evening program, “Freedom: America’s Lasting Legacy”. At the end, after the sculpture is illuminated, those who served in the armed forces were called on stage.

Hubby was in the US Navy, so he got his 5 seconds of fame stating his name, rank, and branch of service. He’s there somewhere in the picture above. :))

That’s it for now. Happy Saturday and have fun blogging!

About Dee Gilbert

I am one half of a couple who loves to travel; the half who likes to write and share travel experiences. Reading about travelers' experiences inspire me more to see the world. So, I thought, perhaps in my own little way I could inspire others, too. :)
