Memorial to First Responders

In response to The Daily Post’s Photo Challenge, “Repurpose“.

This beam from one of the Twin Towers now serves as a memorial to the men and women who first responded to the tragic events on September 11, 2001. The memorial stands in North Arlington, New Jersey, a very meaningful way to repurpose a steel beam from a fallen structure that symbolized a nation’s economic strength.

About Dee Gilbert

I am one half of a couple who loves to travel; the half who likes to write and share travel experiences. Reading about travelers' experiences inspire me more to see the world. So, I thought, perhaps in my own little way I could inspire others, too. :)
