Thursday Doors: A Shop Door in Venice

While on a gondola ride, we passed through what I call waterway alleys. I noticed a shop door turned into a display window. It is a door because there are steps leading to it.

These days, doors by the water are no longer in use in Venice. But gondolas with tourists do pass by. What a clever way of attracting attention to one’s shop!

About Dee Gilbert

I am one half of a couple who loves to travel; the half who likes to write and share travel experiences. Reading about travelers' experiences inspire me more to see the world. So, I thought, perhaps in my own little way I could inspire others, too. :)
