Snapshots: Florence, Italy

I was excited to set foot in Florence in part due to the television series Medici: Masters of Florence. The series tells the story of the rise of the Medici family and their support for the Arts. The story began in medieval Florence. It is amazing that today part of medieval Florence still exists and is home to residences and businesses, aside from being a popular tourist attraction. Here are a few snapshots.

About Dee Gilbert

I am one half of a couple who loves to travel; the half who likes to write and share travel experiences. Reading about travelers' experiences inspire me more to see the world. So, I thought, perhaps in my own little way I could inspire others, too. :)
