Memento Monday: Mini Pinocchio Magnet

Did you know that the creator of Pinocchio is Italian? A Tuscan artist born with the name Carlo Lorenzini, but popularly known as Carlo Collodi. He is the author of The Adventures of Pinocchio. No wonder I saw a huge Pinocchio statue in Pisa.

These mini Pinocchio souvenirs are a gift from our tour manager. I think they’re really cute.

No, I did not know Pinnocchio was Italian depite the names of the characters; it was just a Disney cartoon to me. Learning little things like this is part of the fun in reading travel posts. Thanks.
