Snapshots: Rome, Italy

The Italian capital is a cosmopolitan city with 4.3  million people. Its rich history is evident wherever one looks. Ancient art, architecture, and culture are on display meshing with the modern. My first glimpse of Rome was in the evening. What I saw of it from a tour bus ramped up my excitement. It was waiting to be explored, and I explored as much as I could with limited time. There is no doubt that Rome is a beautiful city with so much history, and should be in every European traveler’s itinerary. Here are snapshots of my first glimpse of Rome.

About Dee Gilbert

I am one half of a couple who loves to travel; the half who likes to write and share travel experiences. Reading about travelers' experiences inspire me more to see the world. So, I thought, perhaps in my own little way I could inspire others, too. :)
