Tasty Tuesday: Francesinha

You’ll need a knife and fork for this sandwich! Francesinha is a sandwich that originated in Porto. It is made with bread, ham, sausages, and steak or roast meat. Cheese is melted on top, garnished with fried egg, and beer-based sauce is poured over it. Hubby and I shared the 1300 calories of meaty and cheesy goodness. We had to have more room for other Portuguese delights to try.

About Dee Gilbert

I am one half of a couple who loves to travel; the half who likes to write and share travel experiences. Reading about travelers' experiences inspire me more to see the world. So, I thought, perhaps in my own little way I could inspire others, too. :)
