Free Friday: Arlington Row, Bibury

What are the chances we would be the only visitors at Arlington Row at five in the afternoon? Unlikely.

Arlington Row is home to honey colored 17th century cottages built for weavers. It is a popular attraction in Bibury, a Cotswold village in England. The place is featured in the movies Stardust and Bridget Jone’s Diary. Visitors may walk along Arlington Row for free. As the houses are still used as private homes, visitors are advised to be respectful of residents’ privacy.

There were many tourists at Arlington when we arrived, busfulls of them, but they were at the end of their visit. Therefore, we got to enjoy the area with a little less crowd.
