Review: Kew Hotel Tagbilaran in Bohol, Philippines

Kew Hotel Tagbilaran, J.A. Clarin St., Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines 6300

Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Inclusions:

DeLuxe Room for 3, breakfast, wifi

Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Kew Hotel in Tagbilaran City is the newest 3-star hotel in Tagbilaran. The hotel which opened in June 2016 is located in front of the City Hall and is a few minutes walk to the city’s Island City Mall. There is a bus terminal nearby and a bank which makes its location ideal for independent travelers.

Room ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Our room was spacious and clean. We had an extra bed set-up for my sister-in-law. There were firehoods in a shelf for guests to wear in case of fire. Yay for survival measures!

The furniture and amenities were standard. There was a writing desk, coffee station, and fridge. Complimentary water was provided for guests, as well as toiletries.

Sleep Quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

We slept well, thanks to a comfortable bed and a cool room. Even in February, Tagbilaran is warm and humid though cooler compared to the months of April and May.

Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Our room was clean and all the utilities worked. Kudos to Kew’s housekeeping and maintenance staff!

Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Two thumbs up to the staff for their polite, friendly, and attentive service. We found the front desk personnel very helpful. The person in charge of the hotel’s Facebook page needs to be commended for replying promptly to my inquiries.

Value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

We got our money’s worth staying at Kew hotel. Breakfast was included in our booking. The hotel provided a buffet of classic Filipino breakfast items that I enjoyed immensely. It was a treat to have chocolate rice porridge, known as champorado.

My husband and I would definitely stay at Kew Hotel again on our next visit to Bohol.
